Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Cupertino is a city situated just west of San Jose. It was incorporated on October 10, 1955 and is famously known as the home of Apple Inc.’s global headquarters.
The city of around 58,000 residents is known for its great school system and was even ranked by Forbes Magazine as one of the most educated small towns in the country. Cupertino is made up of numerous subdivisions, with a majority of them developed in the early 1960’s. In a thumbprint of midcentury modern architecture, there’s also a huge area in Cupertino that is home to almost 225 Eichler homes.
Cupertino is also home to 112-acre De Anza College, one of the larger community colleges in the Bay Area. The campus houses the Flint Center, which is the primary venue for performing arts in the area.
