I hope this note finds you and your family in good health. As we enter the 3rd week of “shelter in place” in many of our markets, the level of fear and uncertainty seems to be growing. I am fortunate to lead a company that is grounded in our Vision Statement and Values that guide us through good times and bad:

INTERO will continue to do everything possible to slow the spread of COVID-19. We realize and respect that many of our clients have decided to wait until we spring back from the current health crisis and accompanying economic disruption prior to taking action to buy or sell real estate. We certainly understand this position and will be ready to help when the right time comes.

Some of our clients don’t have the luxury of waiting to buy or sell. To help our Realtors and our clients navigate this disruption, INTERO agents will work in conjunction with our legal team and business partners at Prosperity Home Mortgage and Orange Coast Title Company to deliver a “Shelter in Place” compliant real estate transaction. This will require everyone involved to adjust expectations and modify some of our proven processes and practices.

Intero’s founding in Silicon Valley has always led us to continually innovate. Our entrepreneurial agents will leverage our innovative technology to execute on behalf of their clients. We will leverage the most current marketing tools and technologies to conduct business virtually and in compliance with the “Shelter in Place” mandate. This will allow INTERO Agents to be a source of stability and calm to our clients.
In addition to serving our clients’ real estate needs at this unprecedented time, I’m proud and humbled that we will continue our mission to serve children and elderly in need in our local communities. Through the generosity of everyone at INTERO, our Intero Foundation will make donations totaling more than $250K to local charities in the coming weeks.
